Manager of Professionalism, NZCS

In 2009 NZCS released Information Technology Certified Professionalm ITCP, the certification for IT Professionals in New Zealand.

ITCP was created as a professional certification for those operating at a level where they possessed the experience and background to be providing professional advice in IT.

The main areas covered by the Certification are:

  • Skills and Knowledge
  • Professional Knowledge
  • Competency and Responsibility

Whilst it is still early days, ITCP has thus far been a significant success with several hundred having already completed their ITCP Certification and many more working through the process.

This presentation covers some of the background of ITCP, implementation, and the future focus of the programme.

This is a great opportunity for those considering ITCP to find out more about what ITCP is and why it is so important for the ICT sector.
