As we emerge from recession, the demand for innovative IT solutions to enable the business strategy will grow.

For some organizations, innovation was a necessity during the economic down turn, while for the majority, the focus was on governing change and cost. Culture is often described as ‘the way we do things around here” or quite simply how aligned are the organizational values and processes (behaviours ).

An interesting question now arises, with the governance processes introduced during the recession, will organizations be able to be innovative?

This question can be extended to procurement of outsourced services; does an organisation’s outsource contracts enable innovation?

This presentation provides a thought provoking insight into the challenges that organisations face in creating a culture of innovation.
